Broadband Helps the Exam Process

One of the key tasks this company has is to create and publish exam papers for payroll at NVQ Levels 2 and 3, both critically important to the development of payroll as a profession and help to ensure we all get paid correctly.

All of the people working on this do so from home as part of their small businesses and until we all upgraded to broadband the job of creating papers, getting them checked and agreed before publication was only just possible within the timetables.

We all had to use zip software to compress files and even then the download time was depressingly slow. We also had regular losses of data and this compromised the security of the exams.

Now we have none of these problems. All the files that make up the two exam papers, up to six very large files in all, can be secured with passwords and moved around with relative ease and with the confidence they are secure.

Along with the other, general benefits of using broadband this one development has meant faster and more secure transmission of confidential data and we are all very pleased.
